On March 19. and 27. the Danish partners in the DEAL project had their two days’ workshop on practice in the field of dementia. Five teachers and trainers from SOSU and four care givers from Dementia Center participated. Besides a PhD student from University of Aalborg, whom we had invited for the event because she is doing research in the field of cooperation between working place and education.
During the workshop days, the two partners discussed challenges in their work regarding dementia, blind spots in existing cooperation, barriers in their organizations and how to make use of existing knowledge and transfer it to better daily care. The participants also made a SWOT analysis and identified topics for the training material to be developed in the next phase of the project.
